A monthgetting to know your ikigai

One email a week for four weeks, from the day you join, with one thing to do. It starts with a ten-minute test and ends by repeating it, to see what has moved.

A test is a snapshot. Ikigai is recognised over time

An ikigai test tells you where you are starting from. What you do with that is something else, and it isn’t settled in an afternoon.

In El Ikigai que no te contaron I work with two dimensions. Active Ikigai is what you do and build. Conscious Ikigai is where you do it from: presence, coherence, not betraying yourself in small decisions. And in No todo lo que te frena es tuyo, what lies underneath: the sentences installed in you that keep deciding for you. This month goes through all three, one week at a time, with exercises from both books.

It doesn’t promise you will find your purpose in four weeks. It suggests looking at yourself calmly for a month, and seeing what changes.

Four weeks, in this order

Before you start, the ikigai test: a snapshot of what you do and where you do it from. Ten minutes, with your personal link.

  1. Week 1 · What is already there

The exercise your test suggests, actually done. One sentence for the whole month on the first page of your notebook, and twenty seconds of attention, three times a day.

  2. Week 2 · What lies underneath

The sentence you tell yourself when you give up on what you start. Whose voice it is, what it was protecting and whether it is still needed today.

  3. Week 3 · Doing it differently

The thread that runs through your life, five minutes of presence a day and one small step in the opposite direction to that sentence.

  4. Week 4 · Coming back to yourself

You retake the test and compare it with the first one. You reread your whole notebook, finish the sentence “When the noise goes down, I am…” and take a gesture with you for every night.

Very little, and nothing to buy

  • Time

    A few minutes a day

At the start of each week an email arrives with that week’s work, and a shorter one midweek. The rest is a few loose minutes.

  • Material

    A notebook

One you enjoy opening. Or write in your notebook in the app: it saves itself and only you can see it.

  • Optional

    Group meetings

Online. If there are any during your month, I’ll let you know the day before.

If you slip one day, you come back the next. No drama.

From El Ikigai que no te contaron

Before you sign up

Is the programme free?

Yes, completely. You only need a free IKIGAIER account, which you can create with Google in one click. That is where your month lives: the calendar, each week and what you write.

What exactly will I receive?

When you sign up, the welcome email and, in your dashboard, the programme with its calendar. Your month starts that same day: every seven days a new week opens and you get an email; midweek, a shorter one. If you haven’t taken the ikigai test yet, that comes first. At the end, a closing email.

Why does it start with a test?

Because the month starts from where you are, not from a generic exercise. The first week’s exercise comes from your answers, the third week’s is chosen so it doesn’t repeat, and in week four you retake the test to see what has moved.

Do I need the books?

No. Everything you will do comes from El Ikigai que no te contaron and “No todo lo que te frena es tuyo”, but each email includes what you need to do it.

What if I can’t do a week?

That’s fine. The next week arrives anyway. If you slip one day, you come back the next.

What happens at the end?

You receive a closing email with ideas for keeping going, if you want: the book or the online course. There is no commitment.

What happens to my data?

Your email is used to send you the programme; you can unsubscribe with one click from any email. What you write in your notebook in the app is only visible to you, and you can delete it whenever you want. Receiving other communications is a separate, optional tick box. More detail in the privacy policy.
